So yeah, life is far too busy or maybe not busy enough and it’s all too easy to get lost in the minutiae of dirty dishes and dirty laundry and it seems that now even the dust bunnies are out to make you gain weight.

Is there a way to peace, to grace, to happy-ever-after or maybe just to happy-for-today? Well, I don’t know about the ever-after part, but there really is, really can be, happy-for-today.

A few thoughts that might just be worth thinking about, maybe even worth trying out?

Connect with the Divine, whisper a prayer of thanks.

Go outside. Breathe in fresh air. Even if it’s raining. Or snowing.

Notice grace, be grateful for it, write it down.

Be a grace-giver. To others. To yourself.

Create something. Every day. Even if you think you can’t.

Do your work like you love it. If you don’t love it, consider changing it?

Make music even if it’s just a drumbeat you tap along with your favorite song.

Read something that interests you.

Read something that delights you.

Read something that inspires you.

Read something that challenges you.

Read something.

Say “good morning” to everyone you see this morning. Even if they ignore you.

Work your body and work up a sweat for at least thirty minutes. Every. Single. Day.

Drink water. Then drink some more. Then drink some more.

Do one thing that will bring you a little closer to living the dream you have for your life.

Make one meal vegan. Every day.

Try making two meals vegan one day.

Laugh, even if it’s just at how impossible it is to laugh sometimes.

Read a blog or an article by someone you don’t agree with. See their side.

Check your email once in the morning, once at noon, and once at night. Only.

Turn off the phone for an hour.

Plan dinner in the morning or after a workout. You’ll make healthier choices. Trust me.

Say “thank-you” to anyone who renders you service.

Say a prayer for someone else.

Say another one.

Say a prayer for yourself.

Whisper a prayer of thanks.

Have an amazing day.
