Whether to take the chance, take the advice, or take a moment to breathe in grace and breathe out thanks – the choices that we make, make the life that we live.

And of course, every choice comes with cost. Opportunity costs. Because no matter what you choose to do with this moment and this hour and this day, you have chosen not to do something else. Your choice to eat the salad for lunch instead of the pizza costs you the pizza. Your choice to focus on blessings and count them instead of throwing a pity party costs you the pity party. You cannot have both – you have to choose.

Oh but the thing is? The most amazing and wonderful thing?

You get to choose.

You get to choose what to think, what to believe, whether or not to take the chance or the advice or the moment to breathe in grace and breathe out thanks.
