It’s hard to know where to begin. You know?
Where to begin, how to begin, what to actually do…
“The most effective way to do it, is to do it.” (~Amelia Earhart)
It’s the details that derail us.
It’s the details that we want to be sure are, well, perfect. The very best possible plan. The most effective plan.
But even the best plan is a failure if it’s never executed.
So how to begin and where to begin and what to actually do?
“Start where you are. Use what you have. Do what you can.” ~Arthur Ashe
You might fail. You might fall.
“Perseverance is failing 19 times and succeeding the 20th.” (~Julie Andrews)
Actually, that’s not true.
You’ll definitely fail a time or two, and falling is pretty much guaranteed if you’re going to take a chance on a dream.
But it isn’t the failing or the falling that matters.
It’s the getting up.
Because the thing is, once you’ve started – once you’ve taken that first step, no matter how small or how imperfect – you can always re-work the details.
But first, you have to start.
